OUR ASSOCIATION

Vocal Arts, a cultural association, presents a pilot project with real usability with interests also outside national contexts. The socio-artistic initiative poses a serious analysis for "training and work in the vocal and musical field". The growing global movement, in combining requests and proposals with targeted selections, focuses attention on a world that must grasp and merge two aspects: progressive art. The administration of the city, in partnership with the proponent Vocal Arts, a non-profit organization, has an interest in gathering what is the main purpose, that is, to train and direct the protagonists as direct actors and to encourage the same young people in the various disciplines of opera repertoires through auditions targeted, master classes, competitions with academic productions and training.

Transforming the atmosphere of the city of Sora and the neighboring territories into openness and hospitality for the many young emerging singers, will place the same in the near future as Sora Città Campus.

OUR INITIATIVES

For the year 2022, one of our first initiatives is the selection through auditions for the different and future seasons with some national and international theaters such as "the National Theater of Oldenburg - Germany, the Canadian Opera Company - Canada, the Arcimboldi Theater of Milan".

The advanced training and provision of courses that take place mainly in the spring and summer period, with the participation of teachers, artists and young and aspiring professionals of various nationalities including the United States, Japan, China, Canada, Mexico, France, Spain and Portugal.....

Of particular importance, in this regard, is the "IV Edition of the Lir'Opera Festival", the concert held in Sora in 2014 on the evening "The Song, Art and Tradition - Italy-Mexico Cultural Interchange", in the extraordinary presence of His Excellency Miguel Ruiz-Cabanas Izquierdo, ambassador of Mexico to Italy.

OUR STRATEGIES

The objectives deserve a practical, critical and reflective study and focus on the fundamental encounter between the world of education and that of work. The educational projects can be of various types, consistent with the plans developed by the association's disciplinary developed, directed and authorized by our Artistic Director:

opportunity to fully develop one's talent, regardless of the background of origin;
identification and growth of competent professionals in the field of the arts;
music education which has descriptors ordered according to two main categories, interpretation and composition (performing and composing), listening and evaluation (listening and appraisal);
hope for forms of partnership for further qualification in this artistic and cultural sector, under the aegis of the artistic direction that will provide for the dissemination of artistic and musical production through productions, concerts, animation;
entertainment and cultural awareness initiatives;
promotion of competitions, conventions, conferences, publications, multimedia and related video productions.
